Hello, my sensational readers!
The New Year always feels like the perfect time to dream big, doesn’t it? Whether it’s starting a new chapter, embracing a bold adventure, or setting a life-changing goal, January 1st invites us to imagine the possibilities. But let’s face it—big dreams can also feel overwhelming.
As many of you know, I’ve been preparing to make a major move to France. It’s been my dream for years, but the reality of making it happen has required more than just dreaming. It’s taken action, focus, and yes—breaking the big goal into small, manageable steps.

Today, I want to share how I’ve been approaching my move to France and how you can use the same strategy to tackle your own resolutions.
Start Small, Dream Big
Big goals don’t happen overnight. The key is to focus on the little things that add up to big results. For me, that’s meant taking one step at a time:
Organizing paperwork for the move.
Researching neighborhoods in France.
Sorting through my belongings to decide what’s coming with me.
Instead of looking at the entire journey all at once, I’ve been breaking it down into tasks I can accomplish each week. This approach makes everything feel achievable—and it keeps me motivated.
Celebrate the Small Wins
Every little step you take toward your goal is worth celebrating. When I found my dream neighborhood in France, it felt like a huge milestone. Even packing up a single box of belongings has given me a sense of accomplishment.
By celebrating small wins, you’ll build momentum and remind yourself that progress is progress, no matter how small.
Focus on the “Why”
Whenever the process feels overwhelming, I remind myself why I’m doing this. I picture myself enjoying a croissant at a French café, strolling through beautiful cobblestone streets, and living the life I’ve always imagined.
Take some time to connect with your “why.” Visualize the life you’re working toward and let that vision guide you through the challenging moments.
Adjust When Necessary
Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Along this journey, I’ve encountered unexpected delays and challenges, but I’ve learned to see those as opportunities to refine my plan, not reasons to give up.
If something isn’t working, adjust your approach. The path to your goal might not be a straight line, and that’s okay.
One Step Closer to the Dream
As I write this, I’m closer than ever to making my move to France a reality. By focusing on one small step at a time, I’ve been able to turn what once felt like a distant dream into something that’s within reach.
I hope my journey inspires you to approach your own resolutions with patience, determination, and self-compassion. Big dreams aren’t achieved all at once—they’re built one step at a time.
